You’re at the intersection of Temescal and Bridge Streets. The Fremont Building stands on a flat area at the northwest corner. This is the site of the first Fair Oaks tennis court, built in the early 1900’s and used until the 40’s and 50’s. An old timer told us that if you hit an errant shot over the fence, the ball would bounce down Bridge Street all the way to the river.

Go up Temescal to the corner of Temescal and California to the white anteaters on your left.
